Mudgee Adventure Company organises schools
based camps from overnighters to week long bivouacs and can
customise a camp to suit your schools needs. We organise all aspects of the camp including,
Camp Program, Risk Assessment, Outcomes and Goals of the Camp, Camp
Activities, Camping Equipment, Venue and facilities and we can fully
Cater the camp on request.
We run a variety of activities on our camps
including: camp cooking, evening activities, talent shows, circle
games, bushwalking, orienteering, fishing and yabbying, canoeing,
bush sports, remote area first aid scenarios, spotlighting
discoveries, tribes activities and a variety of fitness activities.

 The aims of school camps will vary
depending upon the school’s objectives for the camp. They can range
from basic learning of outdoor recreation techniques and activities,
to bonding of a core unit of students, increase of student teacher
relationships, learning teamwork, bettering relationships with
t eachers, students taking on responsibility.
We can accommodate up to a maximum of 60
students at any one time. We can cater for mixed gender camps.
We
have worked with a variety of students with behavioural disorders
including: ADD, ADHD, Autism, Pathological Fear of Water as well as
a variety of disabilities. Mentoring Programs and Boys Ed programs
are our speciality.
